I am ecstatic that the holidays are nearing and that it is totally okay to drink hot chocolate everyday… right?!  What’s your favorite part about the holidays? Mine has to be the music … I am the type of person that could listen to Christmas music all year long! I know … I’m nuts.

I have been loving this Aspen skirt from Downeast — it is part of their fall/winter collection and is unbelievably comfortable.  I love that it is so versatile and can be worn to work, holiday parties, or even a day on the town. (It’s basically a sweater for your legs! I’m obsessed ha)

Also how great is that forest green clutch? Sunflare has the most beautiful genuine leather products.  I got a few of the cuff bracelets to bring on my Costa Rica trip and am dying to show them off. Check out their collection Here.

My hubby competes in triathlons so this Garmin watch has been super helpful in his training. It’s a GPS watch so it tracks pretty much everything he does (swimming, biking, running), gives him all the details he needs to know on his workouts and has a heart rate monitor.

I have struggled the past few years trying to find a brand and bra that fits comfortably and has full coverage.  Let me tell you …. it has been rough!! I have had some shoulder and back problems and always feel like I am readjusting my straps and bra to relieve my back pain.

Hello lovies,

Hoping you had a great week and did some exciting things for Halloween 🙂  I was in such a rush that day and was stuck in horrible traffic that I forgot my husbands costume!! I felt so horrible … but let’s be honest, he was relieved he didn’t have to dress up again ha! 


OUTFIT DETAILS: This week I received my new tassel necklace from Zacasha and I am in love! I love how it adds so much to a simple outfit and can be worn a few different ways. I have been trying out new styles and it has been so fun to change it up a bit.

I have been thrilled that I finally found a black tunic/shirt that is flattering and fits me in all the right places. Not to mention … it’s the softest shirt EVER! It’s a high low and looks so cute paired with leggings or your favorite denim. 🙂

Hello Lovies, Hoping your week was as joyful as mine 🙂 Just wanted to clue you in on some awesome fall deals that I found and give you an update on our next vacation. SO I bought these velvet burgundy jeans at Costco this week and I am IN LOVE. They were only $20 and unbelievably soft!!! I want a pair in every color. Also my booties are only $32 — they are my favorite pair of shoes right now and go with everything.

Fall is coming to an end and I am so sad! I can’t believe snow will be arriving soon….             I loved being able to walk around yesterday and look at all the beautiful trees changing colors and actually enjoy what Fall feels like. Growing up in Florida, the only season you have is summer and semi-summer. I found this neat wall in Provo and HAD to stop and snap some pics.

Lately I have been preparing and researching for my upcoming trip to Cost Rica and could not be more excited. I can’t wait to try all the yummy places to eat, beaches to lay on, and fun adventures to explore. The only thing I am a little worried about is that it is rainy season — well it technically ends mid November, so we are crossing our fingers it will be over by the time we arrive. We will be flying into San Jose, and staying with my second cousin. I am tempted to take a surfing lesson while I am there!! I don’t have the best balance but I think it would be so fun. I am so happy that right as it turns cold here we will be headed to the beach. If any of you have recommendations LET ME KNOW:) ?

These past few days have been absolutely crazy, fun, and exciting! I was able to throw my best friends shower here in Utah with a few other friends. It turned out so beautiful and was perfect for her. I will be sharing the blog post later this week on her shower and some fun DIY project I did for it. I was also able to go to Cornbellies again with our group of close friends and we had an absolute blast. Then yesterday I was able to go to park city and spend some time with my best friend and her hubby before they headed back to Florida. I cant believe that the next time I see her she will have a baby!!! Super exciting 🙂

You can order lipsense through the link above. I have never had lipstick that last so long and doesn’t need reapplying. I put it on at 10 am and it literally lasted until about 10-11 at night and all I did was reapply gloss 1 time after I ate. There are so many beautiful colors and it has helped to moisture my lips so much! SO grateful my friend Calli introduced me to it.

Now to talk about this rocking outfit!! First things first let me tell you that each piece of this outfit is under $40!!! I am absolutely in love with Bell sleeves right now especially ones with lace and detail. This blouse has become one of my fall statement pieces and goes with everything. I love that you can dress is up or down. You can shop more of Amethyst and Opals ADORABLE clothes HERE. They have so many cute and affordable options!

Flare jeans —- The 90’s baby in me is coming out. I am so happy that these jeans are coming back in. These are my favorite pair and I found them at the Nordstrom rack sale this year. Luckily right now I found a similar pair for under $35 dollars. They are the most flattering and comfortable jeans I own.

We had the BEST time at Cornbellys last night and wish we could have stayed a few more hours. There are so many exciting and lively things to do there. Its great because in the earlier hours there are a tons of things for kids but as the night goes on it becomes more of a teen/adult environment. At dusk it starts to get a little more spooky and there are plenty of fires (even smores pits around). We brought my friends niece and nephew so we were able to experience a bit of both environments.

We decided to get general admission and pay for smaller things as we went. I would recommended looking into the diiferent options.

You can get tickets Here and enter VALPAK1 for $3 off!!! (cheaper to go on a week day).   Age 2 and under are FREE. 

There a quite a few fright nights as well which include a few haunted houses, halloween fireworks, and activities. Dusk until dawn —-15,17,  20, 21,  22, 24, 28, 29

A few of the fun things we did

  • Went into  haunted house 
  • Duck races 
  • Air soft war 
  • Apple blaster 
  • Kids jumped on the air trampolines 
  • Played in the corn cob beach
  •  Shared a funnel cake
  • Tug of war

They also have an awesome corn maze that they change up each year. We didn’t have time to go but I am determined to go back this month and make my way through!!

I am the type of person that loves bright and crazy workout clothes. It is fun for me and makes me more excited to workout! I know that I get re-motivated when I get new workout clothes — do you?! I have been loving this Nike shoes as well, they are super comfy and were great for my hike this morning.

Michael found out that he starts his new job at Circus Trix on the 17th, so we decided to make the best of these few days left of being free and unemployed 20 year olds. We decided to go on a hike up the canyon called Deuel Creek in Centerville, Utah. It was absolutely breathtaking!!! We packed food and hiked up to this neat rope swing where we then sat, ate,swung, and enjoyed listening to the creek.

Funny story: After we finished our sandwiches Michael got out the delicious cookies we had bought (1 for each of us) and Michael devoured his pretty quickly … well mine was sitting on top of the bag and I was deleting pictures on my camera– not paying attention. Well this man and his dog were passing by and can you guess what happens next? Yep that thief of a dog stole my cookie!!! 😦 I was so excited to eat the cookie because I went to a spin class this morning,then went on this hike and I felt like I deserved a treat. Anyway, we both busted out laughing and talked about how excited that dog must have been to snag a free treat on his hike.

Today has been a great day and I love being reminding of how beautiful and relaxing it is to be in nature and away from the craziness in the world. Get up — Get out— and Go explore:) You will be happy you did, I promise!!

Autumn is here, which means Halloween is right around the corner!!!  Now that I have started to pack away the summer clothes, I busted out my Fall/Winter clothes today and this Sweater vests will definitely be my go to this season. Also these Rockport boots are the most comfy, stylish, and versatile boots —I would absolutely recommend them.

Some updates on our lives ~

Now that we are back in Utah, I am finally able to enjoy all the seasons and not just summer. I’m dying over these adorable fall decorations and everything pumpkin flavored. Now that I know we are staying here, I have started making a list of all the fun date things I want to do this fall/winter and I’m also making a dream board!! I feel super motivated and want to spread happiness around:)

My husband Michael found a job, so we will be moving a little more South to Provo. We are super thrilled about this new opportunity and can’t wait to get our life back in order. I joined a local gym, started some new workouts (which I will share in an upcoming blog post), and made some new fall recipes. My favorite recipe right now is Taco soup, we had it last night and it was magnificent —  Taco Soup.  This time has been a little crazy but I am happy that we moved when we did because it will be easier to acclimate before winter is here. If you have any suggestion how a Florida girl can survive through winter please let me know??

Thankfully we have decided to go to Costa Rica for Thanksgiving — I mean who wouldn’t want to be on a beach soaking up some rays while everyone back home is frozen??? I know I would. If you know of any great places to see there, I would love to hear about it?!

GOODBYE SAN FRAN

My husband and I decided to become tourists in our area and it has been a blast! We had such a fabulous day exploring! We decided to make a bucket list of things to do before we moved away. Muir woods and the secret swing have been top on our list so we decided to go out and find them.

MUIR WOODS

We first went to Muir Woods which was $10 dollars each to enter the park. They have a few different hikes you can go on, some more difficult than others. We decided to do the 2 mile walk/hike right as you enter the main park. It was so peaceful and mind blowing to see the gorgeous and gigantic redwood trees as well as listen to the streams and birds all around. We had so much fun taking pictures and reading all the cool facts throughout the hike. This is a Must do — and parking is free. I would recommended going early in the morning or during the weekday. Holidays are extremely difficult to find parking!!

SECRET SWING

We later went to a lookout of the Golden Gate and found a hidden swing at a beach called kirby cove. We parked by marin headlands/battery spencer and hiked down a dirt path for about a mile. You walk through a campsite and down to the beach. On the left there is a huge rock and you can see the swing usually with a few people on it. It has one of the most spectacular views of the Golden Gate I have ever seen. The tide can sometimes come up super high so be prepared to get your feet a little wet. They have a super awesome campsite that we are dying to come back to.

We had the best time swinging, talking, and taking gorgeous pictures. This hidden gem will make you appreciate San Fran and its amazing views even more.
